OH … MY …. GOSH… This worked!! My chicken came out delicious & tender & as I told my friend, this tip I believe is so game-changing, it could have potentially saved my marriage!! It makes life that much easier!. I have been thawing chicken in the microwave, in bowls of water, in the refrigerator…. FOR DECADES! This cooking method, starting with them frozen made them turn out just fine! I feel like there should be some support group for all of us weathered cooks who’ve been messing around with thawing chicken for years!!

Wow, I have never had that happen before. Was your chicken centered in the oven or was it too close to the heat element? Perhaps you should use an oil with a higher smoking point such as canola or avocado.
