Ingredients
1 poundziti pasta
2tbspolive oil
1yellow onion, diced
3tbspgarlic, minced
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1tspsalt
1/2tspblack pepper
214.oz cansdiced tomatoes
114.5 oz cantomato sauce
32 ozRicotta Cheese
2cupsmozzarella, shredded
fresh basil, for topping

Preheat oven to 400ºF
Cook ziti in salted water until al dente, will still have a little crunch
In a large, oven proof skillet. Heat olive oil over medium high heat. Cook onion for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add in garlic and cook for 45 seconds until fragrant.
Add in Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and stir.
Pour in cans of tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Pour cooked ziti into the sauce and stir to coat pasta.
Top with ricotta cheese. Spread over the top of the pasta. Sprinkle mozzarella all over the top.
Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden brown on top.
