This simple and classic Sugar Cookie Frosting Recipe is a perfect combination of butter, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. Just the right consistency for Frosted Sugar Cookies.

Ingredients

butter, softened
1/4

milk

tsp
vanilla
4-4 1/2
cups
powdered sugar
Instructions
In the bowl of a stand mixer, or large mixing bowl. Beat the butter until smooth.
Add in the milk and vanilla and mix
Mix in the powdered sugar one cup at a time until desired thickness
Notes
If you would like to color your frosting add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the frosting
