Ingredients

coconut oil, liquid

honey

egg, room temperature

bananas, ripe (about 1 1/4 cup mashed)

semi-sweet chocolate chips

walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease a 10 inch cast iron skillet.
In a large mixing bowl combine the coconut oil, honey, egg, bananas and vanilla. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
Sift the whole wheat flour, baking soda and salt into the liquid ingredients.
Stir together until everything is incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
Spread the banana bread batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared cast iron skillet.
Place in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
