This simple Homemade Teriyaki Sauce is perfect for seasoning beef, chicken, seafood or even vegetables. This teriyaki sauce is made with basic ingredients that are pantry staples, like soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger.
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and continue to cook and stir for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
Notes
To use as a marinade, omit the cornstarch and cooking. Simply combine all other ingredients and pour over meat to marinate.
Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days in the refrigerator
