In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper and poppyseeds. Stir to coat the chicken in the dressing.
Add in the red grapes, pecans, celery and green onions. Gently stir to combine with the chicken and dressing.
Serve immediately, or cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
