This simple Grilled Teriyaki Chicken Recipe is so full of flavor and perfect for a quick family dinner or backyard BBQ with company. This teriyaki chicken only has 3 ingredients and turns out delicious every time!!
In a large zip top bag or a plastic container with a lid, combine the soda, soy sauce and vegetable oil. Close the bag and shake to combine.
Add the chicken breasts to the bag and remove the air from the bag, zip closed
Place in the refrigerator to marinade for at least 4 hours and up to 8.
Heat a grill to 350-375ºF. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on the grill.
Cook on each side for 10 minutes, until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165ºF, or no longer pink inside.
Notes
Chicken thighs can be substituted for the chicken breasts in this recipe. Cook the chicken thigh to an internal temperature of 175ºF
This recipe can be baked in the oven. Heat the oven to 350ºF, place in a shallow baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, until 165ºF or no longer pink in the center.
