Getting dinner on the table in under 20 minutes is totally possible with this easy chicken orzo recipe. Orzo is a tender pasta that can easily be cooked in one pan with all of the other simple ingredients to make a tasty dinner you will absolutely love.

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet with a lid. Add chicken and onions to the pan. Season with salt, black pepper and paprika. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
Add minced garlic and carrots stir to combine
Add orzo and chicken broth, bring to a simmer over medium heat, put a lid on the pan and cook for 6-7 minutes.
Add in broccoli and stir. Cover and cook 5-6 more minutes until pasta is al dente.
Pour in cream and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and stir in 1 ¼ cups of the cheese.
Top with the remaining cheese. Place under broiler for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly on top.
