1 cupbuttersoftened
2cupssugar
1 teaspoonvanilla
4eggsroom temperature
4 1/4cupsall purpose flour
2teaspoonsbaking powder

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325℉.
Cream together butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer.
Add vanilla and eggs and mix well.
Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into the butter mixture and mix until a soft dough is formed.
Roll out half of the cookie dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut out into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Continue to pick up scraps and roll out dough until all the dough is used.
Place the cut out cookies onto a baking sheet. Brush the cookies with egg white and sprinkle with decorations.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove from the oven and transfer to a cooling rack.
