Instructions
In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, salt, yeast and sugar
Combine the melted butter and warm water in a separate measuring cup or bowl. Make sure this is warm to the touch, or measure with a thermometer to 120º F
Pour the water and butter mixture into the bowl with the flour mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until combined.
Pour the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until a smooth dough is formed, about 2 minutes.
Place the dough into a greased bowl and cover for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes remove the dough from the bowl and break off into 12 equal pieces (about 2.5 ounces per piece if measuring dough). Roll the dough in the palm of your hand until a soft ball is formed.
Place the rolled dough balls into a greased 9 X 13 inch pan
Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and allow to rise for at least 30 minutes or up to an hour.
Heat the oven to 400º F and bake the rolls for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown on top. Remove the rolls from the oven and brush with melted butter.
