Ingredients
1poundfettuccine pasta
3tbspbutter
1pound shrimp, peeled and clean
salt, to taste
3garlic cloves, minced
1lemon, juice and zest
1/2tspred pepper flakes (optional)
3tbspparsley, chopped
1/4cuppasta water
1/4 cupparmesan, shredded

Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions until tender. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining pasta.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Internal temperature of 125ºF
Add in the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, lemon juice and zest. Cook and stir for another 30 seconds until garlic is fragrant. Add in the chopped parsley
Toss the pasta in the pan with the cooked shrimp and melted butter. Add in pasta water as needed to loosen up the pasta and thicken the sauce.
