Diced Onion

Cans Italian Diced Tomatoes

Can Tomato Sauce

Tomato Paste

Sugar

Fennel Seed

Red Pepper Flakes

Onion Powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Remove sausage from casing and add to hot pan. Brown sausage and ground beef in pot with diced onion and garlic.
Drain any grease from the pan. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste to the pan.
Add in the sugar, fennel seed, red pepper flakes and onion powder, Salt and pepper to taste.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes up to an hour before serving.
Notes
If you don't like a spicy sauce, leave out the red pepper flakes
This recipe can be made with just ground beef if you prefer.
This sauce is also delicious for lasagna, baked ziti, ravioli or just a crusty loaf of french bread! Enjoy!!
