1/4cupbutter, softened
1/2cupsugar
1egg
1/3cupmolasses
2cupsflour
1tspbaking soda
1/2tspsalt
1tspginger
1/4tspground cloves
1/2tspground cinnamon
1/3cupwater

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400º F
Cream together butter and sugar. Add in eggs and molasses, mix until combined.
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cloves and cinnamon into the creamed butter and mix.
Slowly add water while mixing until combined and a soft dough is formed
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on a parchment lined or greased baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Dip into melted white chocolate or frost with cream cheese frosting.

Recipe for BUTTERCREAM FROSTING. If the dough is too soft to scoop, place covered in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes before scooping.
