Berry Cheesecake Fluff Salad is the most popular Fourth of July recipe ever!! Just ask my fam! Loaded with cream, berries, cream cheese and marshmallows, it is always a crowd pleaser!berry fluff salad with strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows

I know it’s a stretch calling this a ‘salad’ when it’s more like a dessert, but this is a side dish that gets devoured down to the last berry, every time!! This fluff salad is perfect for those patriotic holidays! Delicious for a Fourth of July Dessert or just the most popular side at the neighborhood barbecue. How can you go wrong with berries, marshmallows, cream cheese, cream and Jello?!!

What is Fluff Salad?

Fluff salad is usually made with Cool Whip and Jello then loaded with berries. This recipe DOES NOT use Cool Whip. I don’t have anything against it, I just prefer this recipe with good old whipped cream, it just makes it so much creamier and this berry cheesecake fluff recipe comes together in a short amount of time!!

How to Make Berry Fluff?

This simple recipe just has a few ingredients and can be ready in 20 minutes!! Start with room temperature cream cheese. You want it to be soft enough that when you beat it with a mixer it is nice and smooth. Slowly add in the whipped cream, vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat until the cream thickens and peaks easily.

At this point, add in the Jello and continue to beat a few minutes until well combined.

Once your fluff is a mixed you can add in the goodies. Simply fold in the sliced strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows until everything is covered in delicious, creamy fluff!! Place the salad in a serving bowl, cover and chill for 5-10 minutes before serving. This will allow the Jello to fully incorporate and not be grainy.

Can I make this Fluff Salad Ahead?

I would make this salad just before serving. I will last a day in the refrigerator if you have left overs, you can store them in an air tight container. This is best served fresh because the strawberries tend to lose moisture the more they are in the salad, causing it to become a little watery.

Making this today and noticed you left the cup of heavy cream off of the recipe. Luckily you had listed it in the ingredient list, so it’s turning out yummy! Thanks for a fun recipe.

When you say strawberry jello, do you mean made jello, or 3 oz of strawberry jello powder?

Great question! It is just the powder from a 3 ounce box of Jello
