How to Grill Zucchini

This is going to be quick, because all you really need to do is slice, oil and season the zucchini before placing it onto the grill. To slice the zucchini, start by removing both of the ends, then slice the zucchini into spears by slicing in half, then half again and into spears as pictured above.

Drizzle the zucchini and yellow squash with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. Mix together a season mixture of sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle the spices all over the zucchini and yellow squash until it is well seasoned.

Place the zucchini and yellow squash spears directly onto the grill grates or on the grill pan over medium heat. If you are placing on the grill place over indirect heat, have the fire burning on the other side of the grill, not directly under the zucchini.

Cook for 3-4 minutes per side. The squash is done when it is tender throughout. Take it off the grill and serve while still hot, it is the best!!
