Anytime you put chicken into a slow cooker and let it roast for hours, it comes out fall-apart tender. This creamy Italian chicken recipe and this salsa chicken, cooked in a slow cooker are always so easy to make and come out delicious every time!

How to Make Slow Cooker Italian Chicken
This slow cooker recipe is as easy as dump and go! This is a perfect dinner recipe that can be all put together into the Crockpot in the morning and then ready to have for dinner when you come back home later that day.
Let’s not forget to mention how amazing the house smells after this has been cooking all day.
To make this simple recipe, you are going to start with 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, place right into the slow cooker.
Tip: Chicken thighs can be used as well if you prefer.
Once the chicken is in the pot, add in the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese and chicken broth.
Turn the slow cooker on to low and cook 4-6 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.
After the hours have passed and your house feels like a cozy kitchen, take the chicken out of the slow cooker. Use two forks to shred it into bite sized pieces. It will shred easily since it is so tender from cooking all day!
Stir up all of the juices in the slow cooker until they make a smooth sauce and add the shredded chicken back into the pot.
Sprinkle with some fresh parsley if desired and serve over pasta or rice.

Cooking Frozen Chicken in the Slow Cooker
It is not recommended, by the USDA, to cook with frozen poultry in the slow cooker. Poultry should always be thawed before cooking in a slow cooker to prevent bacteria from forming, because frozen foods can lower the temperature of the slow cooker.

Slow Cooker Creamy Italian Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 package Italian dressing mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 8 ounce cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place chicken into the slow cooker.
- Pour in Italian dressing mix, soup, cream cheese and broth.
- Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with 2 forks or electric mixer.
- Stir sauce in the crockpot. Add back in shredded chicken and serve over rice or pasta.
