The Best Peanut Sauce

This simple peanut sauce makes a regular appearance in our home. It has just a little kiss of spice that adds so much flavor and you won’t believe how many ways you can use peanut sauce.

Our go to use for this sauce is with fresh spring rolls, they are irresistible. Next, cook up some pasta and add a little bit of this sauce to coat the noodles, then add in a little cooked chicken, shredded carrots and green onions. So good!!

Ingredients for Peanut Dipping Sauce

This peanut butter sauce is made with simple ingredients that you most likely already have on hand. To make this simple sauce you will need the following:

  • Creamy Peanut Butter– I prefer the smooth texture, but if you only have chunky, that will work too
  • Water
  • Soy Sauce– can substitute low sodium or even coconut aminos
  • Chili Sauce
  • Brown Sugar
  • Garlic Powder
  • Ground Ginger
  • Rice Vinegar

Making Peanut Sauce

There really aren’t a ton of instructions that go along with making this peanut sauce, so get ready for the shortest recipe instructions ever.

In a small bowl combine together the peanut butter and water until smooth. Add in the soy sauce, brown sugar, chili sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, rice vinegar and ground ginger. Whisk together until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is well combined.

If you feel that the sauce is too thick for your liking, simply add a teaspoon of water at a time and mix until it is your desired consistency.

Top the sauce with some chopped peanuts, if desired and start dipping.

This sauce will store well in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. When you are ready to use simply warm up in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it smooth again, or leave out at room temperature until softened.
