How to Make Turkey Cranberry Sliders
To make this simple turkey slider recipe start by preheating the oven to 350ºF. While the oven is heating assemble the turkey sandwiches. Start by slicing the Hawaiian sweet rolls in half. Simply run a knife all the way through the center of the rolls until the top can be removed from the bottom. Place on a greased baking sheet.
On the bottom layer of the rolls place a layer of sliced turkey. This can be leftover pieces of turkey or deli sliced turkey. On top of the turkey place a layer of provolone cheese and then a layer of whole berry cranberry sauce.
Place the top of the rolls back on top of the layered sandwich.
In a small bowl, melt the butter and add in the onion powder, garlic powder, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Mix until well combined. Brush the top and sides of the rolls with the butter mixture.
Cover the sliders loosely with foil. Bake for 15-20 covered with the foil, until the cheese is melted. Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.
