Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are a simple, healthy cookie made with coconut oil, honey, flour and oats. This Banana Oatmeal Cookie is a perfect way to use up ripe bananas and a simple treat that the whole fam with love.

These Healthy Banana Oatmeal Cookies are so easy to make, add a ton of fiber to your daily routine and taste sweet and delicious. We love making these healthy cookies at home to give that sweet tooth its satisfaction and also enjoy something a little nourishing as a treat instead of just countless calories.

How to make Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

To make these simple Banana Oatmeal Cookies, start my combining together the room temperature coconut oil with the honey. Add in the egg and mashed bananas. Mix in a stand mixer or with an electric mixer until well combined.

In a separate bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and other spices. Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir to combine. Stir in the oatmeal and milk chocolate chips until combined.

The dough is not thick, it is more on the runny side, but that is exactly what you want the dough to look like for these soft, banana cookies.

Scoop the cookie dough onto parchment lined baking sheets. Bake in a 375ºF oven for 10-12 minutes, or until baked through. Cool on a cooling rack before serving.

Store cookies in sealed container either on the counter or in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
