Pears with Cream Cheese Ball
These couldn’t be easier to make. Start with soft, ripe pears. You can tell pears are ripe by giving them a gentle squeeze with your hand. If the pear flesh sinks in a little, you have yourself a ripe pear.
First, slice your washed pears in halves and remove the core. This can easily be done with a teaspoon measuring spoon. You made need to do a little slicing and remove the rest of the stem and core with a knife.
Cream Cheese Ball
Keep the cream cheese chilled so it will be easier to form into a ball. I took 6 equal 1 ounce blocks of cream cheese and sliced those in half to form the balls. Roll them in your hands or on a clean counter top a few times and then roll them in the chopped pecans.

Can u bake these?
That is a great question! I honestly have never tried to bake them, but I imagine they would be delicious baked. If I were to bake them I would cook them at 325º F for about 10-15 minutes. Let me know how they turn out.
My family has been making these for generations! We freeze them and eat when they’re somewhat thawed.
