How to Make Hot Chocolate

This recipe for hot chocolate in the slow cooker is as simple as dump it the recipe and heat. Pour in all of the milk, cream, sweetened condensed milk and other ingredients and stir until combined. Place the lid on the slow cooker and allow to heat up on high for 2 hours, stirring every 20-30 minutes, until the chocolate is melted.

Once the chocolate chips have all melted and the hot chocolate is heated through, turn the heat down to low or warm. Keeping the heat at a lower temperature will keep the hot chocolate perfectly warm and won’t allow it to boil. If it does begin to boil be sure to turn down the heat, you don’t want the hot chocolate to burn.
