Creamy Tomato Sausage Pasta
This recipe was shared with me from a great neighbor that lived by us in our first home. Life was so easy then, but of course I thought it was crazy with 2 little ones running around. I was always looking for easy meals that I could cook fast and get on the table in just a few minutes.
This Creamy Tomato Sausage Pasta was and is the perfect recipe. It is so simple to make and comes together so quick without a lot of babysitting.
The Italian sausage goes into a hot skillet until it is nice and brown. Remove the sausage and add in the onion and garlic. You can drain the grease and use a tablespoon of olive oil if you prefer.
How to Make Creamy Tomato Sauce
The sausage goes back in the pan with the sauteed onions and garlic, add in your cans of Italian tomatoes and heavy cream. The sauce will simmer down while you cook up the noodles. Stir the sauce occasionally as it begins to thicken, this can take 15-17 minutes.
Everything gets all mixed up in the pan and becomes the creamiest, tastiest meal of the day!! You are going to love serving this dish and even more, eating it yourself!!
This pairs perfectly with this GARLIC BUTTER BROCCOLI recipe.
Let me know if you try this recipe!! I would love to hear how it turns out for you!
