Steps to make Graham Cracker Toffee
Let’s walk through the simple steps with a little more detail than in the recipe card below so that you can make this graham cracker toffee perfectly every time.
Step 1: layer graham crackers onto a half baking sheet (jelly roll pan 15 x 10 x .75) that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 2: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the sugar and stir for 4 minutes to help the sugar dissolve. Continue to stir as this tends to bubble up when cooking. If it does bubble up, turn down the heat or remove from the heat for a second and stir to break up the air bubbles and let it go down.
Step 3: remove the pan from the heat and stir in half of the chopped pecans
Step 4: pour the buttery pecan mixture carefully over the pan with the graham crackers and use a spatula to spread it evenly over the crackers. Bake the graham cracker toffee for 12 minutes in an oven heated to 325º F
Step 5: when the toffee is done baking, pour the chocolate chips over the top of the hot crackers. Let is sit for 30 seconds to melt and then spread evenly over the top of the graham crackers in an even layer. Then, sprinkle the remaining pecans over the top of the melted chocolate.
Step 6: allow the toffee to cool completely before breaking into smaller pieces. This can be sped up by placing the pan into the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to help the chocolate harden.
How to Store Graham Cracker Toffee
After the toffee is cooled, place into an air tight container or zip top bag and store on the counter for up to one week.
This stuff is so addicting, so I highly advice placing some in gift bags and sharing with your favorite friends, they will love you for it!

Made this today. Really easy and very yummy. The only thing I would add is it’s very hard to get it out of the pan. Next time I will line with parchment.
