Lemon Pudding Fruit Dip is a delicious combination of lemon pudding and Cool Whip or whipped topping. This Fruit Dip comes together super fast with just 3 simple ingredients! This simple dip is perfect for taking along to a neighborhood potluck or family get together!

This lemon fruit dip is a simple treat, we even love to make this as an after school snack. This recipe makes A LOT and will last for up to 5 days in the fridge. Lemon is such a delicious flavor with any fruit, it really just brings out so much flavor!!

Ingredients for easy Fruit Dip

  • Lemon Pudding
  • Milk
  • Cool Whip
  • Lemon Zest

Just a few simple ingredients make this simple fruit dip. 

Cool Whip Substitute:

If you prefer not to use Cool Whip, you can make this recipe with regular whipping cream. Combine 1 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla and 3/4 cup of powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl or stand mixer.

Whip until stiff peaks form in the cream and fold into the pudding as directed. This dip will not last as long in the refrigerator, only about 2 days before it starts to separate.

How to make Lemon Fruit Dip

To make this simple fruit dip, start by making the pudding. combine the pudding mix and cold milk in a large mixing bowl. Whisk or stir with an electric mixer until the pudding thickens, this will take about 2 minutes. 

Fold the thawed Cool Whip into the prepared pudding until well combined. Keep the dip covered and chilled until ready to serve.

Ingredients

  • 1 3.5 oz package instant lemon pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
  • lemon zest

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl combine the pudding mix and milk. Whisk or beat with an electric mixer for 2-3 minutes, until thickened.
  • Fold Cool Whip into the pudding until well combined.
  • Chill covered until ready to serve. Garnish with lemon zest before serving.
