How to Make Toasted Marshmallow Rice Krispies in a Skillet

- Toast the Marshmallows– place the butter in the 12 inch cast iron skillet, place the marshmallows on top of the butter. Bake in a 400º F oven for 5-7 minutes, until the butter is melted and the marshmallows are fluffy and browned on top.

- Add the Rice Krispies– stir the marshmallows together with the butter, then add in the Rice Krispies cereal until all combined and covered in the marshmallow mixture.

- 1/4 cup butter unsalted
- 10 ounces marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400º F
- Place 1/4 cup butter into the bottom of a 12 inch cast iron skillet. Top with 10 ounces marshmallows. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the marshmallows are fluffy and browned and the butter is melted. Keep a close eye on them so they don't burn.
- Stir the marshmallows and butter together then add in the 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal fold into the marshmallow mixture until combined.
- Press evenly into the cast iron skillet, slice and serve.
