Baked Brie is one of the easiest appetizers, that everyone will rave over. Brie is a mild tasting cheese that you can purchase at any grocery store. It comes in a little wheel shape, wrapped in paper. The cheese has a rind on the outside that does not need to be removed before baking.

The inside of the brie wheel is a soft, delicious cheese that melts up so perfectly. This recipe only takes a few minutes to make with just a few ingredients. Serve with some crunch french baguette, crackers or even fruit slices like apples or pears.

How to make Baked Brie

You are going to love how easy this baked brie recipe is to make and how quickly it comes together. Your guests are going to love the flavors from this delicious appetizer.

To make baked brie, preheat your oven to 350ºF. Remove all of the paper wrapping from the outside of the cheese wheel. You do not need to remove the rind from the outside of the cheese. Place the brie wheel into a small oven safe pan, like this cast iron skillet or onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

Bake the brie for 13-15 minutes, to allow the cheese on the inside to get all melty and gooey. The outside rind of the brie won’t melt so don’t worry about it melting and spreading all over the pan.

The last few minutes while the brie is cooking, heat up the cranberry sauce in the microwave for one minute, if desired. I like to do this because it makes the sauce more runny so when you put it on top of the cheese, it will run a little bit off the sides of the cheese.

When the brie is done baking, remove it from the pan and place onto your serving platter. Top the melted brie wheel with the cranberry sauce and chopped walnuts.

Serve with crackers, crusty bread slices or even sliced apples and pears.
